Sigma Phi Epsilon - SC Beta

The Ancient Greeks believed in developing a Sound Mind and a Sound Body as the way to live a fulfilling life.  SigEp adopted this philosophy in order to help students live their best lives. The Balanced Man Scholarship awards those students who want to grow as a student in and out of the classroom. The scholarship is awarded to three incoming freshman males. The first place winner will receive $750, second place will receive $500, third place will receive $250. This scholarship enables our chapter to recognize outstanding incoming freshman males who exemplify our philosophy. We find that qualified Balanced Man Scholarship applicants make great potential members because their personal ideals and aspirations are already congruent with those of our chapter.

Winners will be determined based on past performance and credentials, but great emphasis will be placed on the applicant’s motivation to develop into even more of a balanced man.

To be eligible for this application you must:

• Be an incoming freshman male

• Attending Clemson University for the 2011-2012 academic year

• Submit the application before the deadline: August 19, 2011
